Everything was perfect other then the pillows.

The pillows, they were super cheap ones that felt like they had been scrunched up with toilet roll and separated after first night which made for a sore neck the mornings after, invest in some heavy duty decent ones for a good night sleep and this is the perfect place to stay.

Good location. It is as described. It was clean enough but it could be better.

I was asked to do the online check in and upload our IDs to receive the check in instructions. It was a waste of time because they then tell you to go to their office to do the check in. We had to walk 12 min with the luggage, we arrived there, they checked our documents in 1 minute and sent us a link with the instructions :( They could have sent simply the link. We had to walk back for another 12 min with the luggage to open the lock according to the information in the link they sent. Absurd. They also weren’t the friendliest people I have ever met. The boiler turns up at night for the heating so you will hear the noise. Gas boilers arent supposed to be inside either. We woke up and opened the window.

The apartment is located very central in the old town (train station 10 min by foot, many restaurants and shops close by). It was easy to understand the self check-in (no reception). The agency managing this and other apartments in Como (House of Travelers) reacts fast.

Unfortunately the apartment didn't meet my expectations. It is really the first time the negative part of my review is longer than the positive one. I had several issues even though I stayed only for two nights and I was not happy how it was handled. 1) Wet flat When I checked in, I saw the water in the kitchen running while the sink was closed. It is a bit strange how this could happen but as a consequence the kitchen was flooded (e.g. power plugs of the coffee machine and the kettle wet). I told the agency about the problem and about a wet carpet in front of the kitchen already smelling. They promised to check the next day and responded fast even though it was a public holiday which I appreciated. However, the next day, I couldn't see the problem solved. The wet carpet was still there and the electric kitchen devices weren't still dry. Anyway, as the kitchen drawers weren't clean, it was clear to me I wouldn't use the kitchen at all. 2) Dirty flat The flat smelled moudly even after I opened the windows for a long time. The cleaning in general was only a really rough one which I also told them. However, when I came back the next day, the situation was still the same. I found out that the agency charges 40 Euro cleaning fee when booking through them directly which is included in the Booking price without that you see it, I don't think it is justified. 3) One problem fixed Another problem was that the drain in the bathroom wasn't working well but they fixed it but you could see the rest of the product used. Overall, I understand that Como is expensive but definitely the price I paid (140 Euro) was not worth the experience. One last remark: I received several messages reminding me that I definitely have to respect the check out by 10 am which of course are generated automatically. One message as a gentle reminder would have been sufficient.

Great location, functional AC/ microwave/ fridge, ambient neighbourhood

There are strong moldy smells in clothes wardrobe, washing machine and cupboard. Many black mold dots/stains inside washing machine.

Really like a wine loft space with unpleasant smell and air- condition was not working properly and the water didn’t drain in the kitchen

We chose not to stay and relocated to a new hotel.

The room was quite plain and simple and had the feel of a college dorm room. The in room clothes washing machine had standing water in it and had a bit of a mildew smell. The location felt isolated and the courtyard the unit overlooked was tired looking. We chose not to stay and moved across town.
