beautiful area and city

The town of Donnybrook was a perfect location for our trips to Cork and beyond. Very pleasant with a beautiful park nearby. The apartment itself had a very nice layout and the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. Also, the washing/dryer machine was a bonus. Michael was a gentleman and very responsive to our needs. Plus he gave great tips about Cork such as events and destinations.

The bedrooms and other areas in the apartment needed some extensive cleaning. For example, the wardrobes in both rooms were completely covered in dust on top. The kitchen could've been cleaned much more thoroughly as well. Supplies such as washing soap were very low and needed to be brought to his attention. Very minor thing. The property entrance has a bit of a mess of cleaning supplies, just exposed and unkept in walking areas.

Spacious, very comfortable, parking, great host, good location. Very well set up for families.

I can’t think of anything, it was ideal for us.

The property lacked basic facilities and was very poor compared to most places I have stayed in the last 8 months of travelling. Crockery was not washed properly and the apartment was in need of a proper clean. The entrance was blocked by garbage bins and household items that were only fit for the bin and the hallway stunk of smoke. There were electrical wires sticking out of the wall. The apartment is in need of love and attention.
