Central Chic Margate Apartment, edge of Old Town!

Great location, 15 min walk from the train station Easy check in with lock box A clean spacious flat with modern decor and a homely feel, kitchen was very nice with certain things provided: coffee, tea, sugar etc Portable heater and extra blankets were handy, and very much needed The guide sent was thoughtful too

Only supplied one roll of thin toilet paper for three days for two people, so had to go and buy some The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes from previous guests and the bedroom bin hadn't been emptied Heating system could have been better. The bathroom is single-glazed, so in this weather stayed extremely cold even with the electric radiator in the room switched on. Had to keep the bathroom door closed as it was letting in a cold draft. Avoided using the shower over the weekend because staying in the bathroom became unbearable and so cleaned our teeth in the kitchen

The apartment was as shown n the photos on the website. It was easy to travel around the Kent coast using Margate as the base.

We felt the entrance hall and stairs to the apartment needed some TLC. We were put off by the apartment's location in Margate being at the midpoint of a steep incline on a narrow street with limited on street parking. If you book a stay at this apartment ensure your handbrake is working well! The neighbourhood the apartment was located in felt uninviting as well.
