"If you can bear the stench"

Location.

From the moment we checked in, the entire apartment had a stench. This is a known problem on The Pearl, but we didn't think that we would be spending our holiday with a sewerage smell. Some of the facilities promised were run down. For example, in the activity room, the ice hockey was not functional, the table tennis - at first - was not available until a set of rackets magically appeared. We came away with the impression that it's not well kempt anymore. Pax profile: 43+ years in Qatar with a long history of residence and travel to North America, Europe, East Asia
