Great location. Close to the castle and easy walk into main square

We had the one bedroom apartment. It was nice and clean but very tight. The house is very dated, but the hosts made efforts to renovate and decorate it. The hosts are also very friendly and lent kitchen utility upon request. The kitchen was okay but very tiny. We were happy about the mosquito nets, so we could ventilate the rooms at night. Location is nice, very close to the castle.

Apparently there is no AC unit in the room, but the pictures didnt differentiate between the apartments, so i didnt know this. Also there is no extractor hood or ventilation system in the kitchen aswell, so the room got damp quickly when cooking due to the small size. Since the house is old, the windows were very small so it took more time to ventilate the room due to the heat.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience, and to be fair, we probably should have read more about the house beforehand. The property itself is an old house, and I believe it has about three separate rooms, with the owner living on-site. When we arrived, there was a strong bleach smell, likely from cleaning, but later it turned into a musty, old-house odor, which wasn’t pleasant. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel! What they can provide is a shared one , so who knows where it comes from. Noise was another issue. The house rules mention quiet hours after 10 PM, but it was still very noisy during the day, especially from the owner next door. If you’re looking to relax, this is not the place to do it. The beds were probably the worst part—small, creaky, and incredibly uncomfortable. I understand it’s not a 5-star hotel, but with a bed like that it’s not even 1 star ! The bathroom was extremely narrow, making it hard to move around, and the whole place could really use some upgrades, like a new door ! We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, and honestly, I’d rather spend more money next time to have an entire place to ourselves. It’s not even about the little things like the towels or the cheap soap provided for the bathroom and kitchen to wash dishes. Parking is ok but you have to be good at it.
