La casa sulla piazza (Historic apartment)

Beautiful apartment, plenty of space and lots of character. Comfortable beds and a convenient position in the town so it was easy to walk to the Belvedere and the Duomo. The owner very kindly booked a taxi from the station for us.

Nothing. The only suggestion would be to provide some bowls for the cereal and perhaps to label the hot water switch as we turned it off by mistake on the first night!

We loved everything! An absolutely gorgeous apartment, we were shocked about how beautiful it is! It’s also in a great location with a very easy checkin and hosts who give a lot of information about the surrounding area - highly recommend! We will be staying here again when we come back to Enna :)

Most likely one of the best places we have ever stayed

This appartment is amazing. Dont overthink, book it. It exceeded my expectations. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 comfortable double beds. A kitchen and a bathroom with toiletries. It also has 2 small balconies with seats overlooking the plaza. Loved the design too, stylish. Its centrally located, and parking the car was easy. Just park on next square (in front of Generali bank) inside the blue lines, free at night btw. Communication with the host was very easy, he sent us a lot of tips on restaurants and else. This is a self check in, which is very convenient. You open the main door, and get the keys from a locker on the apartment door. Host also left a little breakfast, free of charge. Excellent service!

This apartment was exactly what you can dream of in a holiday in Sicily. Old charming building with beautiful baroque balconies overlooking the main square, wonderful authentic design details, very comfortable bed, old, but mint condition furniture and decorations, clean and all comfort needed - in a couple of words, living the Sicilian dream, I felt like living in Malena movie set.

The hosts Pamela and Giuseppe sent us instructions the morning of our arrival, and met us in the square. Pamela took us up to the apartment. She gave us a very detailed briefing about the apartment and its facilities, and the town of Enna, including local restaurants and cafes, and sights to see, things to do. Giuseppe took us to the garage for car parking. The apartment had two spacious and comfortable bedrooms with high ceilings and views over the piazza. The beds were comfortable. There was a connecting door between the rooms. There were lots of old books in the apartment. It was very centrally located, on one of the town's main piazze. We had a excellent dinner at Baglio Balata, which was about three minutes' walk away. There was a light breakfast provided, and coffee and tea. Drinks were available from the fridge. The next day we took Pamela's advice and walked to the Palazzo di Lombardia, where we wandered around the grounds and went up into the tower for panoramic views of Enna and the countryside. We had lunch at a small cafe on the way back to the square. When we arrived back to pick up the car, Giuseppe was there, and drove our car out into the street for us. Would love to have stayed longer in Enna. Pamela and Giuseppe were very warm and attentive hosts. We really couldn't fault the place - it was also excellent value for money. Enna is a beautiful town, and visiting it was a wonderful experience. First photo is the piazza from our window, second is looking back at Enna from tower, Palazzo di Lombardia.

The only fault we could find was that the visitor book was full and we were unable to express our appreciation - so we have done it here. It was obvious most people who stayed at La Casa Sulla Piazza really enjoyed the apartment.
