Special Farmstay, Faia-Guarda

Beautiful location and farm, away from the cities and noise, overlooking to gorgeous mountains, very relaxing vibe. Lovely hosts and amazing breakfast, all fresh natural products from the farm.

At the time we stayed there was a little problem with the conduit and everytime sitting on the terrace when somebody had a shower, there was an awful smell and dirty water leakage

The dinner was amazing, Jasper and Mande amazing hosts!

Nature, animals and the kindness of your hosts. Wake up to the sound of birds and sheep and enjoy a delicious breakfast with fresh produce and a different dish every day.

Wonderful property and warm, welcoming hosts! Perfect spot to relax and rewind after exploring the towns and villages around Guarda. Breakfast was outstanding every day, and we loved the optional dinner prepared one of the nights we were there. This farmstay was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal!

No negatives.

The hosts were so helpful and gracious. We enjoyed walking through the olive grove, amongst the sheep, petting the horses, hearing the chickens, picking fresh juicy figs from the trees. The pool was refreshing and had wonderful views. Our breakfast was the most delicious fresh foods ever. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we come back to Portugal, this is where I want to be.

There were flies because it’s a farm but wearing long sleeved shirts and pants helped.
