Der nahe Flughafen ist sehr deutlich zu hören, auch abhängig vom Wind, aber das sollte man nicht unterschätzen.

Paikan isäntä on todella avulias ja ystävällinen! Asunnossa kaikki oli paikallaan ja siistiä. Sijainti oli meille täydellinen!

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, man hat Wasserblick aus allen Fenstern. Es ist zwar alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Sogar Kaffee und Tee waren vorhanden.

Mir persönlich waren die Betten zu hart, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Wenn der Wind aus Richtung Flughafen kommt, dann hört man die Flugzeuge wenn sie starten und landen.

Маркос был очень гостеприимным. В квартире есть папка на разных языках с лучшими ресторанами, арендой велосипедов, расписанием автобусов и местами для посещения 😍 это меня впечатлило. В апреле погода всегда непредсказуема и было очень ветрено, но в квартире есть обогреватель и дополнительные одеяла, которые спасали от непогоды. В быту было удобно пользоваться кухней и ванной. Соль, сахар, перец, масло, уксус, кофе, кофемашина. Есть место для сушки одежды. Рядом есть минимаркеты, где можно купить необходимое. На такси 5-10€ до города или супермаркета, где широкий выбор продуктов. Удобное расположение между заливом и лагуной, всегда был выбор плавать в спокойной воде или на волнах. Берег пологий и не глубокий. Всегда мало людей и очень большая береговая линия. Апартаменты удобные, рекомендую 🤗

Рядом дорога, и слышно мотоциклы. но с 23 до 9 не было шумно и можно было выспаться.

The bed was acceptable, but not really comfortable

The Barracuda was a classic disco in the 70s and 80s (according to our 60ish uber driver!) Our ground floor unit (no.1) had been recently refurbished with fresh paint throughout, new kitchen cabinets, new, granite countertop, new stovetop. Kitchen is huge, dining table for 4, large range of cutlery, crocery, glasses, pans and at least 3 methods to make coffee. Instant hot water in both bathroom and kitchen. The Atlantic Ocean beach is no more than 50m from the door, and wasn't safe for swimming when we were there. However, the lagoon on the other side, maybe 100m, has a wee beach too, is flat calm and the watersports school is just steps away. The ferry into Faro leaves from a pier 400m away. Owner Marcos was very friendly, speaks many languages and is knowledgeable about everything in the area. He confirmed the disco history, but his family converted it to apartments in the 90s.

Not being able to stay longer! There are roadworks ongoing outside (Apr 2026) which are loud during the day, but stop at 17.00

The owner was great, such a delight ⭐️ We really loved the location and felt that one week wasn't really enough for us.
