Departamento en Miraflores con Surquillo

It’s clean, affordable and easy to communicate with the staff. I stumbled upon this place the second day in Lima. I needed something simple. Jose, the manager, was very easy to work with. Very nice and engaging. I returned two nights later and stayed a second night. For a solo traveler this is a good place.

The location.

Everything is miniture. Furniture, balcony is standing room only. The dish sponge is 2"x 2". Cutting board 6" square. Two plates, two forks etc. Water is either freezing cold or burning hot.

I was supposed to be able to check in at 10am. I arrived at 4pm and was told to com back 2 hours later. I wasn't happy to do so after a 7 hour car journey, but nevertheless did so and when i returned at 6pm the host wasn't there. It took a further 30 mins to get into the apartment.

not clean, inattentive staff, no toilet paper or towels upon arrival, few dishes, can hear busy highway, ugly view.

Super nice and very helpful owner. You can even ask him if he can come pick you up or drop you from the airport at a better price than all the taxi drivers on arrival. The place is very close to milaflores. The apartment was recently renovated and was the best value for money we could find. There were a couple of things missing like the shower curtain and the bin but that will get easily fixed. Security in the building is great with 24/7 reception.
