Good communication and location to Faro centre

Close by a noisy railway station Loose electric points that were dangerous and my daughter got an electric shock We arrived late and nothing left out - given the price would have expected a couple of bottles of water at least.

Not enough hot water fir shower.

Location near transport. Some coffee pods provided. View of estuary.

No effort to welcome visitors - one stiff laminated city map; no info on local attractions, recommendations for eating, trips etc. A/con did not work in main bedroom, light didn’t work in second bedroom, no handbasin plug, no gas lighter for cooker, oven door opens only if remove drawer (as handle blocks it). Info on how to work washing macchine would have saved a lot of time! Back of lounge chair collapsed - not safe to lean back on.

The apartment looks better in the photo than in reality. Terrible smell in the stairwell. The apartments are located in the station area. The place didn't seem very safe. We stayed for 4 nights, on the last morning we couldn't cook breakfast and wash with warm water because the gas was running out.

Good location, close by train and bus station for travel to other parts of the Algarve. Informative host. He was very helpful and picked us up from the airport and arranged for a transfer back to the airport at the end of the holiday. Beautiful view from the balcony. There is a very good housekeeper called Felisbela who was also very helpful.

The second bedroom is open plan so if you are intending to go with another couple, you will need to put up a privacy screen. It is fine for a family with young children.
