The Cross Keys Apartment - 85D Market Street

The location was good but the flat itself was not very clean, the carpets had lots of stains some areas were grubby on doors and walls. The purple sofa was not comfortable or supportive, it was in need of a window cleaner and a lick of paint.

Great location!! The apartment was comfortable. We all had our own space.

Unfortunately, the toilet didn’t work.. but the maintanence crew came quickly to repair.

Apartment has lots of windows but they are all not able to open so apartment feels warm and can't let fresh air in.

Huge apartment. Great location. Great value. Having a washing machine and large kitchen.

Rugs and dining room chairs are stained. Need some updating. Fan in bathroom ceiling had fluffy dust .

would be helpful if keybox had the flat ID on it to avoid having to try all of the boxes on the wall by the door to get the keys...

The location is WONDERFUL. Market Street has shopping and dining, including a Tesco Express, which made buying a few things easy. The apartment is HUGE! Loads of space to stretch out. Big, comfy couches in the Living Room were perfect for watching a show when we were tired from site seeing. The kitchen is modern and large. Nice, big towels for guests. The rooms are inviting.

There's wall to wall carpeting and unfortunately, lots of small stains in the high traffic areas. It would be wiser to change out the carpet in the entry and hall with something easier to clean. The kitchen stunk of bacon. I don't know if it was the previous people who stayed there but even after opening up a window, the smell lingered the entire time we were there. (And I like bacon!) It was NOT from the pub downstairs b/c the smell wasn't in any other room. Most likely the kitchen wasn't vented when someone cooked. The smell was so strong I didn't want to spend much time in there. There's one bathroom and it needs a make over. Overall, the details of cleanliness, like wiping down window sills or doors where dirt smudges were left were not done. There were wonderful towels but no washcloths. Great place but the cleanliness and smells were not great.
