Dimora Umberto - Dammuso Suite

Location was amazing and the apartment was beautifully styled and very clean

Beautiful room - absolutely unique to stay in a converted "dammuso". The renovation has been done with a lot of care and attention to detail. The room was compact but well equipped and had everything we needed. We really appreciated how cool and dark and quiet it was to sleep in! Good location (take note of the detailed directions as it is slightly tricky to find!) in a very quiet little laneway only a short 5-10 min walk down the hill to the main parts of town.

It was initially tricky to access as the key code didn't work to unlock the door, and as we didn't have phone data to contact the owner, we had to find a friendly neighbour to call them and get the door unlocked. That was a bit of a hassle but it was all sorted out in the end.

Super unique and authentic experience. Great location, helpful staff.

Parking was a bit difficult to understand the directions. We used the paid parking area instead.

The most incredible experience!! Never stayed in a room like it, simply amazing! Room is so beautiful and the attention to detail is fantastic. All furniture traditional sicilian, so a real authentic stay! Everything perfectly clean and modern. Easy check-in and great communication with the host.
