Lorena Apartments in Pula

It was the cleanest accommodation I've ever booked, we stayed in an apartment with a terrace, and there was everything we needed for cooking (frying pan, pots), kettle, towels, and a hairdryer. I'm surprised by the negative reviews, as we felt comfortable and everyone respected our privacy. My husband and I had a quiet, amazing and respectful experience.

The apartment itself is very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed.

I truly wish I could give a higher rating, as the apartment itself was absolutely lovely. It was spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. However, our experience with the host sadly overshadowed our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt more like intruders than welcomed guests. The host's demeanor was extremely cold and uninviting, which made me quite uncomfortable. The check-in process was unexpectedly long (around 30 minutes) as I was walked through basic functionalities such as turning on the stove and opening windows. Despite politely explaining that I am already familiar with these things, I wasn't really listened to. When I realised the host won't leave our apartment any time soon, I just went along with him instructing me, so as not to upset him. The house rules felt unusually strict for paying guests, more like staying for free at an uncle's place than staying at a rental. We were told not to turn on the AC unless the temperature outside is extremely hot. We were also told not to sit on the balcony at night, even for a quiet cigarette, as the sound of a plastic chair might disturb the host, who sleeps with the window open. Meanwhile, we saw people in different houses chatting softly on their own balconies, which only added to our feeling of being out of place. I went out of my way to be respectful and considerate, especially at check-out, where I made sure to leave everything spotless. Despite this, we received an unnecessarily cheeky remark from the host as we were leaving, which left us genuinely hurt. Overall, although the apartment itself was great, the lack of warmth and hospitality made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the stay which made me feel sad, because we were paying guests.

We were allowed to check-in slightly early. (2 hours) We had a really nice introduction to the apartment from the owner's husband about where everything was and how it worked. We came mostly for beaches, all were super walkable from the apartment, or there is a bus one street away which goes to the beaches or town centre. I think they work on feedback because issues previous reviews had (no hairdryer) are resolved. There are also several supermarkets and bars nearby. We stayed on the top apartment so we had a nice terrace to eat snacks and have some drinks after a day at the beach. Also the apartment is incredibly clean and well stocked. Shower is probably the best I've ever used in my life.

No wifi in the apartment, but reachable from balcony outside.

nice and friendly owners as well as a good and clean apartment that meets all my expectations and a place from which you can quickly get to the city by bus 2a and За and from the city or walk to the beaches, and there is a large selection of them, free parking is a plus

The apartment was beautiful - so clean when we arrived and our lovely host gave us a full introduction to the apartment and the area of pula giving us a great insight into the best beaches. The location of the apartment was great - only a half an hour walk to Verudella (where you will find the most amazing beaches), you can also get the bus as well which is cheap and regular and there are many bus stops located near the apartment which was also useful when getting into the centre of pula. Our lovely host also treated us to fresh fruit that he had grown in his garden (the best raspberries I had ever tasted). The apartment had a lovely balcony with table and chairs which was wonderful. I would definitely recommend!

The apartment is located in a quiet residential area. Large, comfortable, clean and cozy. They have everything for a comfortable stay. The apartment has their own parking lot in the yard. The nearest Valsaline beach is 25 minutes on foot, the better Umbrella beach is 36 minutes on foot. Not very pleasant if you come for a beach holiday. For this, I would choose a location closer to the beaches. The owner is very friendly, but during check-in he told us everything about his apartment in great detail and for a way long-long time. It was as if he was talking to children.

There is no wife in the apartment number 1 (as stated on Booking). But, unfortunately, our A1 SI mobile connection also does not connect because of all the buildings around. We had to go to the gate to get a connection. There weren't microwave and iron.
