Property a bit old and run down. There was not much cutlery in the kitchen.

Location-in the town center of Ipoh

We were travelling with 3 young kids, imagine the below: 1. Bad cleaniless. Hairs all around the apartment 2. Broken showerhead in master bathroom 3. Shower water from heater was not hot at all in both bathrooms 4. Non water absorbent bathroom floormat 5. TV not functioning 6. Remote control for all the fans were not working. 7. Stain on most of the wall. 8. Old worn out towels 9. No bidet in both toilets, only had the hose of which 1 was leaking 10. No shower screen in the 2nd bathroom, thus the whole bathroom/toilet gets wet after a shower 11. No proper futon bed, only thin single mattress provided to sleep on the floor. 12. Ants around kitchen table top We checked-in to this Unit A-11-9 at 10pm and had highlighted to Verve Mgmt IMMEDIATELY on most of the issues above, expecting them to come and fix the next day. The reply from Verve Mgmt the next morning was basically to troubleshoot and solve the problems on our own, excuse given was that they dont have spare keys to acces the unit. Given the problems highlighted are obvious and not accidental, that shows that no inspections/maintenance was done by the Verve Mgmt. We paid more than RM800 for the uncomfortable 2 nights stay. Strongly advise not to stay in this place unless the problems are fixed. We hope Booking.com will contact us. We have photos and not helpful WA text exchanges with Verve Mgt as evidence.

No hand bidet in toilet and please improve towel quality. Deposit rm150 per stay.😬

Location is within walking distance to town.

Lounge area sitting is hard enough to hurt the bottom. Shower head in both bathrooms were leaking and glass partition in master room about to drop off.

The location of the venue is somewhat far from the prime places, it's like a 15 minutes walk from the main hub.

We were asked to pay for our early arrival, which we agreed to do. After taking the keys, we found out that the rooms were not the same which we booked, the room given to us was very mediocre, tiny and cramped. The towels kept were very below par and the view was the alley downside which was shabby. Upon enquiring we were told that the room we chose had hot water issues so we were given a different room without informing us... They did change our room but the new one was not very promising either. The new room had a better view but the Living room aircon was not working as the main switch was broken. Both the Bidets and showers in both the bathrooms were leaking... the kid room had extra bedding just stuffed in the corner and looked very shabby. The room came with a cooktop but cooking is prohibited there, and to ensure that the main switch of the gas was removed from the button. The cups and mugs were dirty and stained. The blankets were stinking and had there been any other option we would've just left that place. I booked a homestay to make sure my old aged parents were comfortable and I could always be around to help them but the stay was actually a very bad experience on our part. I would rather take a hotel then book any homestay from now on.
