La Corte di Costantino-Downtown Como

2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms was great for us. Full kitchen, minus a microwave and a full size fridge was great! Lounge and dining was very comfortable too. Location was brilliant. A short walk to everything we needed. Elevator was great for luggage and elderly guests. Beautiful opening windows with lovely breezes. Extra t-towels, special coffee and paper towels were grearly appreciated. Very picturesque and comfortable.

Power cut out 3x's, not unusual in Italy, but still painful. We weren't over using appliances, so put it down to storm activity! Owners fixed it each time,but still unfortunate.

Location

Our stay in the Lake Como area was enhanced by our time spent in Le Corte Constantino. The hosts met us at the property and handed us the keys. They had thought of everything... including color coding the keys for the street entrance to the courtyard, the building and our actual apartment. The furnishings were comfy and the appliances upgraded and new. There were maps of the area and cards for some of their recommended local restaurants ~ including the best pizza parlor we found in all our trek around Italy right across the street. We could have stayed there a week or more. Perhaps next time we will!

We couldn't really figure out how to use the washer/dryer combination. Some instructions on the unit would have enabled us to freshen up some of our travel duds.

11 stars out of 10!! Everything was perfect. the property is gorgeous. The host is wonderful. Location - perfect. All we’d imagined and more. We had a WONDERFUL family vacation.

Nothing - absolutely great

central location. two bathrooms and nice big apartment. nespresso machine with coffee capsules. the host was very friendly and was there to receive us. we faced a slight electricity shut off and the host arrived in 5 min to fix it

the Wi-Fi was not working properly and the directions to reach the property from the train station were not clear which made us reach there with all our luggage with great difficulty

The host was very pleasant and welcoming. The place is amazing for families and friends traveling together as it is very spacious and well organized.

This lovely apartment is very clean with towels, shampoo etc provided. The host is extremely personable and helpful to answer any questions and provide assistance with any issue we had. Excellent location to explore Como. Literally a 5 minute walk to the heart of the old town and 10-15 to the lake front, fenicular amd boat rides. Was nice to be able to cook meals at 'home' rather than eat out every night. Would definitely recommend the apartment for a Como holiday.

The only minor issue we had was caused by the exceptionally hot weather. The apartment has a portable air conditioning unit in the kitchen which was fine for the main living quarters and fans in bedrooms which made sleeping more bearable.
