Elegant Apartment

It's a very nice apartment in a good location and the price is very reasonable. The rooms are comfortable and the woman we collected the keys from was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is great for a few people needing somewhere to stop over for a couple of nights.

While the place was clean on the surface, we found a lot of the dishes needed to be rewashed before use and there was a lot of random bits of open and partially used food etc in the cupboards. There was also a constant banging coming from radiator in the the front upstairs bedroom throughout the night which may need looking into.

Location is good, it's very spacious and roomy, beautiful kitchen and lounge. Check in and check out were extremely easy and it all went without a hitch! Although the property is on a main road, it was very quiet, which we really liked.

I DID NOT GET TO STAY AT THE PROPERTY AFTER BOOKING THE APARTMENT VIA FILLING OUT THE DETAILS THAT O REGULARLY DO BECAUSE I REGULARLY USE THRU BOOKING I THEN SPOKE TO THE HOST WHO WAS NOT AT ALL HELPFUL (AT ALL) AFTER I HAD PAYED AN NOT TELLING ME COS WHAT WAS SHOWN WAS THAT IT WAS FOR (2) ADULTS I ONLY APPEARED TO HAVE CLICKED FOR ONE “NO” ANYHOW COULDNT ARGUE THE MATTER ONLY TRY AN SORT IT SO AFTER SPEAKING TO HER SHE DID BOT ALLOW IT AN THAT I HAD TO GO THRU BOOKING CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL THAT HUIHAA TURNS OUT I WOULD HAVE HAD TO PAY DOUBLE THE PRICE FOR MY PARTNER TO COME ALONG !!WELL I SAID NO CANT DO !! AS THAT WAS NOT THE PRICE ADVERTISED! STILL TO THIS DAYBI HAVE NOT HAD A REPLY OR REFUND IT WASNT A CANCELLATION IT WAS A COMPLETE MISUNDERSTANDING NOT ON MY BEHALF AN STILL NO RESPONSE NO STAY AN FEEL I HAVE BEEN TOTALLY ROBBED ABSOLUTE APPALLED BY BOTH PARTS SAVAGE!!!!

Lots of space, friendly welcome when I picked up the keys. The flat is nice and warm, with a big lounge & dining area. It's an interesting property at a reasonable price, and I would definitely book it again.

The bed layout is odd - I'd searched for a 3 bed place - this one has 2 double rooms, a single room and a camp bed in the landing! This could be much clearer on the property description (also whoever gets the camp bed on landing has a bad deal compared to the other nice bedrooms - luckily we didn't need to use it). Also there was no toilet paper when we arrived, but think this was an oversight.

Modern wrap around TV, big rooms, spacious bathroom. The owner provided milk, tea and coffee.

Strong smell of solvent in kitchen and living room was overpowering, the shower had no wall attachment. The windows had mould around them, the glass in the window in the bathroom was cracked and the gap stuffed with tissue. One window on a landing couldn't be closed at all. The stairs to the apartment had many many steps and should have had a landing half way up.
