Mandarin Premier Apartments C - studio apt

Clean, modern apartment. Helpful and friendly host. Close to all amenities. Would recommend.

Despite the appearance of the hallways, the apartment itself was very nice, clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were very good. The location was excellent: in the town centre and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and the ferry terminal.

I’d hoped to be able to do laundry in the washer, but it wasn’t until the day I left that I learned where the washer was.

The apartment is amazing. Very spacious for such a central location. Very modern feeling. Bed was extremely comfortable and bedding was great. Heating is very easy to use. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Having laundry facilities available is a huge plus. All of this at a very reasonable price point is such a great find.

The only reason this place isn't a 10/10 for us is the bathroom. When we stayed there was a very strong mildew/musty smell. This looks to be due to the grout needing a deep clean, as there is very visible mould and black/orange in most of the bathroom grout. For something small I would message the host, but this likely needs a full clean using bleach and anti-mould agents and we didn't want this during our short stay. The shower flooring also appears to be some kind of wrap and it's possible the water from the shower gets in underneath it, especially as the shower drain isn't recessed so you need to scrape up the water yourself (using supplied tool). VERY minor (does not affect my rating), but there was no dish sponge (even though soap was provided) and only one roll of toilet paper. However I'm sure if we messaged the host this would have been resolved. The Wi-Fi would also drop out on occasion for a few minutes but this is not uncommon in the UK.

We absolutely loved our stay here right in the heart of Oban, and this studio apartment made it so much better. It's absolutely beautiful & only a minute walk from all you need ie shops, bars, restaurants & the ferry's, it was spotless clean & had everything in the kitchen that you would need & more plus the bed was very comfortable & had a great shower which is always a bonus. Communication with the landlord was only a text away, we can't wait to come back 🚢☺️

Apartment was layed out very well, making it easy to cook meals. It was only a half a block off the main street and less than 5 minutes to the bus station and docks, and lots of restaurants.
