I chose Santamarta35 as I liked the plant theme, it was refreshing. The apartment had great style and charm. The washing machine was brilliant and the airer was great. Excellent range of crockery and kitchenware. Comfortable bed. Shower was okay but pressure could have been stronger as in other places in Italy. Great location, 20 minutes walk from train station and Leaning Tower. Good communication with owner too.

The bedroom and bathroom are up a spiral staircase. I don't remember seeing or reading this when I booked. I was fine with it but some people I know wouldn't have managed. I think Booking.com should make whether a place has stairs internally and/or externally a category so that people know .

Good location in relation to station, tower and dining precincts. Although just a foam mattress, it was most comfortable. Air conditioning in bedroom was appreciated.

Shower/toilet arrangement is poorly designed. Water was hot, but low flow. Door falling off in kitchen. WiFi password was not displayed anywhere (we spent ages trying to connect with password located on the modem. Finally messaged and were given the password). Lock on door at main entry was dodgy. We were concerned we weren't going to be able to get back in after we left (the door was open when we first arrived so didn't use the key first time). We were fairly well aware of what we were booking after reading reviews, and ultimately were happy enough to take it for a night. It's lower price end for location, and you can understand why.

High traffic. With open windows the noice is big. If you close the window you barely hear it.

The location is excellent, you can quickly reach any point of interest (train station, tower, shopping) on foot. Access to the apartment was easy, with the key left in the keybox, without direct contact. The bed in the bedroom is comfortable, but rather short (in length). There was coffee, tea in the room.

The bathroom is too small, the shower is very close to the toilet, you have no space to move, the whole bathroom floods when you take a shower and there is a risk of slipping. The apartment is not very clean, although this is the first impression. But for example the drawers are not too clean. The lighting in the apartment is very weak. It really needs some renovation and better cleaning. Almost all the furniture is old, the refrigerator door doesn't close well and you always have to push it to make sure it's closed and doesn't spoil what's inside. We didn't have a TV, I asked the owner and he said it was broken. It would have been right to know in advance, we stayed 7 nights and we wanted to watch TV in the evening. The bed in the bedroom is small (short). For us it was not a big problem, we are not tall, but for a tall person it can be uncomfortable.
