La Casina

The host was so very kind - he gave us a bottle of wine and took me to the only grocery store open that Sunday afternoon - very, very kind! The terrace was lovely and very fragrant!

Didn't stay 2 nights!

The host picked us up from Stia so we didn’t have to walk to the casa.

Everything! People are sweet, fantastic view. All was incredible. And very pet friendly

We loved everything. Just one thing that was a bit cold upstairs. Not critical but after the long walk under the rain might be needed the extra blanket

Our host was excellent! When hecrealizedcwe were pilgrims on the via di Francesco (ie. No car), he offered to drive us to the grocery store AND take us back! A very generous gesture we can never thank him enough.

Not the problem of our host but Booking.com lists this property a half mile from the city center of Stia. No way. It's up the hill near the castle. Great property but if you don't have a car, you may have an issue like we did.

Beautiful! Massimo was a great host, great communication even with my poor italian and his not so good english, everything was clear. It's the best location for the value, road is little tricky because you ride through forest and mountains, but you see where the all wines come from. :) So friendly, familiar and it feels like home, breakfast with home-made jam is a must! Evenings and mornings in the courtyard is breathtaking. Bravissimo e grazie mile!
