Apartments Trogrlić

Had no communication before check-in. Messaged them and did not hear back. Tried to called but they do not have a WhatsApp so I could not get ahold of them. We were sitting outside with our luggage and I had to contact hotels.com customer service who got ahold of the resident who stays on property to let us in to our room. If I did not have data to use we would have been screwed because we didn’t know where to go. The resident on site was very nice and showed us a clean room. The AC is amazing and the balcony is pretty big. The curtains were sheer and we were woken up by the sun so there is no darkness when the sun is up. I will say if you have bigger luggage, take a taxi from the port because the walk up to the place is so incredibly steep it was miserable.

I was treated like a friend of the family. The mini-kitchen was a savior during low season.

Stunning property overlooking the bay. Mary and Karl were so welcoming and honoured my room upgrade despite it not going through properly on booking.com. Apartment was super clean and comfortable!

With there not being a lot to do on an evening in Hvar as a solo traveller other than drink, Netflix would have been nice. My biggest gripe with the property was that I had chosen it purely based on the fact that it had a pool. I very quickly learnt that the pool was pretty much unusable during October due to it being freezing because it only got sunlight for an hour a day between 2-3.

The property was wonderful. Our only wish was that the steep incline to get to the property was advertised more.

The room was extremely clean and had a great view of the fortress and the pool. The location is a reasonable distance from town and is easily walkable. The hosts are very kind and respect your space while also being availed if needed. It is apparent they take pride in operating a respectful, comfortable and well maintained facility. There was one evening when a bunch of young men were quite loud and obnoxious which was not tolerated thankfully. Definitely recommend.

An option for pool towels would be nice.

The apartments were very clean and the small pool area was perfect for chilling out. We were welcomed with a complementary welcome drink and the owners were very nice.

Apartment was lovely with great pool. We enjoyed our stay here.
