Aura Retreat with Free Parking

Handy for town centre. Lovely, clean and modern. Free parking sealed the deal for us. Would definitely go back.

Poor quality mattress and pillows. Shower head fixing not lockable to fix shower head angle. Shower head itself did not match fixing. Resulting in poor shower experience. Basket /shelf for toiletries would have been useful.

Beautiful apartment, fantastic location and brilliant parking.

Pillows were a little uncomfortable but the mattress was a very comfortable

Loved how close it was to York centre, the parking and the quietness of the location.

The extraction fan was really noisy at night, after showering. It's a small price to pay given how comfortable the flat was.

The apartment has its own parking space which is one of the reasons for choosing this property. Its relatively new, quiet, great location and there are several supermarkets just around the corner. Its about a 10 minute walk into town with a nice pub to break the journey.

We struggled getting the TV to work, would be nice to have instruction to guide you in the right direction. This is more an observation: The apartment is on the 3rd floor and has no lift. Also as the kitchen has no space for a dish washer, its up to the tenants to wash up so the previous tenant were not as squeaky clean as we would like. Also the cleaning team could do a deep clean in the shower getting rid of the lime scale (shower head and shower door), also the “sealant” around the shower base needs a good scrub or replacing.

The decor was amazing and a really nice flat, only let down by the location.

Based on part of a housing estate part industrial estate it was quite noisy with traffic and children playing in the street. We also had an infestation of silverfish in the bathroom which wasn't pleasant but they did sort with pest control. The bed was not comfortable at all and you could feel the springs in your back. Other than these negatives the flat was gorgeous.
