The Old Nurses Home

It was nice and warm, just 10 minutes walk from most attractions, lovely kitchen with a washing machine, comfy bed.

Door handles and doors especially in the hall need replacing along with panel at side of bath, also drainage in bath is really slow

Location was excellent. Very easy to walk into town and to see the Christmas stalls. Plenty of restaurants nearby . No need to use the car once parked.

We couldn’t open the windows in the morning to air the rooms. Might have been we didn’t work it out. Also couldn’t get BBC1 on tv. No hardship as we weren’t there to watch tv.

The flat offered everything you could want it was comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedroom and a bathroom that offered not only a bath but an electric shower as well. The location was excellent very close to city attractions and next to a major supermarket.

The only slight downside which could occur at busy times (but thankfully did not affect us) was the parking. The spaces are quite narrow and space 11, space allocated to this property, was next to a high wall so any passenger needed to get out of the car before parking as to be inside the space you were only a few inches from the wall. If a vehicle was parked in space 10 I'm not sure how easy it would be to get out of the car but thankfully it did not happen as this space was empty for the duration of our stay.

This is an excellent location within a 3 minute walk into the town. The host Bev was available throughout and we will definitely return. It was exactly what we wanted
