Beautiful comfortable apartment with lots of lovely thoughtful touches. Met by host who was very helpful. Great location, short walk to centre, very peaceful, only noise was the geese on the river outside

Nothing, couldn't fault anything

From the moment of making the booking, our experience with Tim our host was so helpful and welcoming, the apartment was meticulousy clean and the decor very tasteful. A warm cosy feel with thoughtful little chocolate treats and bread, cereal and milk provided for breakfast. With just a short walk along the canal to get to the main shops and the shambles in York. Tim kindly provided us with recommendations of places to drink and eat, of which we can personally recommend The Whippet Inn for excellent steaks and service and Malmaison Hotel Sora Sky Bar for the small plates menu and the amazing panoramic view of York. Well worth the trip, we can't recommend our stay enough!
