We loved how warm and comfortable the property is. It is so well equipped and the Christmas decorations and tree were a lovely surprise. Jayne and Eddie were so welcoming. This was my third stay at the Old Post Office, I’m sure we will be back.

Very homely, comfy beds, we were left all the essentials and the Christmas tree was amazing. The bus stop just outside the Bluebell Bell pub was handy for going into York.

The accomodation was top notch , beaitifully done with high quality, comfortable furnishings and a lovely courtyard garden to sit out weather permitting. Jayne and Eddie were excellent hosts and had thought of everything including toiletries and a generous welcome pack of bread, milk, butter, eggs ,chocolate treat and a few dishwasher tabs. All much appreciated . Perfect location for us to visit Castle Howard and Fountains Abbey.
