The Old Post Office pretty village 20min from York

Beds very comfy and house was well presented

Beautiful property in an amazing setting. It was just perfect for us. Lovely park close by, pub and cafe. Such a perfect location for a country getaway with lots to do. The place was spotless and beautiful too.

It really was super. If I was being super picky maybe the beds could have been slightly bigger. We struggled to fit in the (small?) double in one of the rooms There isn’t a downstairs loo if that’s a need for someone with mobility challenges, there is 3 en-suites upstairs though!!

Stayed here with friends. Very pretty cottage equipped with everything you could possibly want or need. We cooked at home a few evenings and it was so easy, equipment like new. Bathrooms were super clean and shower just right. Very comfortable beds and the courtyard garden a joy to sit in. one of the best we have stayed in. Even found a stallholders barrow in the village selling wonderful home grown fruit and veg. Bluebell Inn yards away did a great sunday lunch. Great location away from busy roads but within reach of a geat area of Yorkshire. So much to see and do. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful cottage with us and for the welcome treats.

No negative comments. Only regret I forgot to take details of the other property in Wales the owner has for holiday rentals.

The old post office is beautiful accommodation, the three double bedrooms with ensuites was absolutely brilliant as there were three couples in my party. The owners were very friendly and very helpful made us feel very welcome. I will recommend the post office to my friends and family and we will be staying again.

The weather it wasn't very nice, but there's not a lot we can do about that.

The steps at the French doors and front door step is a bit dangerous for children a ramp would be a lot better also a gate around the arch to the drive would be safer for children

This property was exactly as described. Beautiful surroundings with immaculate accommodations. Large kitchen that was very well stocked, comfortable sitting room and three full size bedrooms each with its own full bathroom. The Host was wonderful and left us welcoming bottle wine, milk, bread, eggs, and butter which was much appreciated! Great location that allowed us to explore York, the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. Would definitely come back!

Honestly it was awesome

We loved that the property was so spacious and modern. A lot of love has gone into providing such a warm and tasteful space. Lots of little touches and a handy welcome pack just made our stay wonderful. Fantastic location for a drive or bus ride into York.
