The Old Post Office pretty village 20min from York

The location was fantastic and the house was very well laid out. Having an ensuite per bedroom was perfect. The house was warm and welcoming with everything you need.

What a treat it was to find a welcome food package when we arrived. It's the little touches that make a huge difference. We had a very comfortable stay in your beautiful home, for the weekend, we had everything we needed and more. We would love to return to your home in the future.

Rocks on the drive, edging around the tree, damaged the underside of the car, as they could not be seen in the dark.

We really enjoyed our three day stay at this lovely property. The accommodation is just as described with space to park one car on the driveway and further parking available on the quiet street for other vehicles. Everything in the house is top quality, especially the beds as we all had excellent nights sleep. Cleanliness throughout was to a very high standard. The kitchen and dining area was a good size for our party of five adults and one two year old. A high chair was provided and this again was of top quality. The hosts were friendly and available but not intrusive. Each bedroom had en-suite facilities which was a real bonus. Situated on a quiet street in a rural village with easy access to a children's play area which our granddaughter loved. It's a short distance by car to Easingwold if you need provisions, take-aways etc. We used the Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride a few miles down the A19 to access York. We also spent a very interesting morning at the York Bird of Prey Centre which is fascinating and has knowledgeable, humorous and helpful staff. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Accommodation is very clean, good size of each room with ensuite. Kitchen utensils are well prepared. House owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly Recommended

The property owners made themselves available to hand over the keys on arrival and were always quick to respond in any communication. Everything was very comfortable (particularly the beds). All bedrooms are a good size with a good en suite. We like to be able to cook properly, if we wish to while away and all the equipment etc was to an excellent standard and enabled us to do so. I cannot speak highly enough of this property. We would certainly book again without hesitation if staying in the area.

Nothing. The accommodation is exceptional. If any property ever deserved a nailed on 5 star review rating, this is it.
