Charmante Altbauwohnung am Rhein

Host was really helpful and responsive througout our stay. Instructions from the hosts to find the keys were clear and easy to understand. The apartment was a lovely space with more than enough space for 4 people. Location was really good for exploring the city, a short tram ride to the city centre or a nice walk along the river (Maybe 20/25 minutes). Overall a really lovely place to stay. Thank You

The gate in front of the apartment building could be a bit tricky to open sometimes.

Helpful and very responsive hosts. Made us feel nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is stylish and nicely furnished. Light bright - great to open the windows and have the fresh cool river breeze. Smashing views. Little balconies are perfect for a relaxing coffee moment. Great location. Really couldn’t be better located for a float along the river. The host property manual is obviously written with care. Advice - take the arrival directions given in that, not by Google maps! Didn’t hear a sound from that neighbours in the building. Peaceful. It’s a tiny thing but I love an apartment with ice bags for the freezer! Really nice stay. Basel is great. And the Vitra design campus a great day out.

It’s a lot of stairs to reach it. But that’s not a criticism. Just pointing it out. I should be fitter. No built in USB points for phone charging. But an adapter is provided.

it was a very warm day 30-35 degrees - and the apartment was warm

Lovely Altbau Apartment, great view of Rhein, you can swim in Rhein on your doorstep (in the summer), neighborhood cafes and restaurants, short river walk to city centre.

The location on the river was beautiful. We loved being on the quiet side of the river, but still a 10min tram ride away from the city center.

Lovely and well-appointed apartment in a nice area of town.

We liked everything.

Travelled with family. Mom and dad are senior. A little juggling the way in as there are few steps up but manageable. The apartment is very lovely. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom drain well. Nice shower. Host is super helpful and attentive. Public parking in the area is a little challenge but walkable distance. Very very nice location next to the river.
