Great place, the photos are accurate. The living room is very bright and airy. The full sized fridge and freezer was a great addition. Very easy to park. We have bus passes so used them to get about. There are bus stops very close to the property. We visited, Malton, Wetherby, Harrogate and Leeds all by bus ☺️🤭☺️ On a main road but we thought it was quiet. A good selection of shops in Acomb which is a short walk away. Easy access, 4 o’clock entry seems quite late in the day. Most places are 2 pm Having said that we definitely consider staying again if visiting the area.

For such a beautiful property a few things I thought let it down. Considering this is self catered I thought a few items could have been added. No washing up liquid, even though there is a dish washer, sometimes a mug or plate needs washing. I understand some visitors might take it but just a little would have been good. There were only 3 mugs so they needed to be washed by hand. No hand towel in the kitchen? This is a common thing in self catering places and I don’t understand why. Couldn’t unpack our cases completely as no where to put things. Be mindful that there are 2 flights of stairs.

Very clean and great facilities. Short 30 minute walk into town.

There wasn’t any soap in the bathroom.

Light and airy. Good kitchen facilities. Efficient heaters. Good access to city via bus, bus stop only a couple minutes walk.

Curtains in bedroom hard to pull. No guaranteed parking space but we found one slightly down road.

Lovely apartment, very clean and spacious for the size and space. About a 10-min drive/taxi away from all the local attractions and transport links.

It's a second-floor apartment with only a small fan to cool the whole apartment and no air conditioning. This meant every time you walked in, you'd be slapped in the face with heat even when we left all the windows open, like we did. Easy fix though, to just add another fan to the apartment. Also, there is a washing machine but no airer to dry clothes. So it becomes a little redundant.

Near to local attractions via a taxi.

No lift access. Rooms very hot and many windows don’t open. Fan available but air doesn’t go far! Water on timer so often you’re having a cold shower! When cooking the flat gets hot and smoky quickly despite the dehumidifier being on… this needed a clean perhaps! Only a couple of hangers available no real storage for clothes. Bathroom is tiny!

Really clean, well looked after property with good size kitchen and everything you needed. Comfy big bed. Nice high ceilings and lots of natural light. Uber into the city centre was £6.

The house is on quite a busy road. It's a converted period property so you can hear the footsteps from the flat above. Light above the shower didn't work but enough light in bathroom. A full length mirror would have been handy.
