Luxury renevapartment island village

I went with my husband and friends in January 2024 - The location is amazing, the host is absolutely lovely (so helpful in every step of the way), the wi-fi is great (I also had to do a bit of work there and it works perfectly), the property is extremely clean (how good is that?) and the condo has a pool as well (for those who prefer a pool instead of the beach). The condo also has a mini-market inside, which is super helpful to get food, drinks and everyday products.

I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stay for more days as everything exceeded my expectations! The condo does have a few stairs so just be conscious of that if going to the pool - otherwise just get the car and you can go all the way around and enter through the other side.

We we’re happy with everything

The view of the ocean and across to La Gomera was lovely and the weather gave us some beautiful sunsets. The apartment is away from the busy area along the beaches which for us was good but with the beach area within easy walking distance. The apartment was comfortable enough for four people and just a short walk from a car parking area.

The parking area is clearly insufficient for the numbers of cars needing to park. Many cars using the pavements to park on. The apartment cleaning and maintenance regime needs addressing. We reported some faults and Alex along with a colleague was quick to respond to replace a leaking coffee machine. We asked for a cafetiere as we would prefer not to use pods that are expensive and not environmentally friendly. The end of the corner sofa unit was broken and being propped up by a chair. We would normally expect air-conditioning in the bedrooms to be more comfortable - the only air-condition unit was in the main room. Each bedroom and the living room had a ceiling fan but only one remote control available for all 3. There was a TV in the main bedroom that didn't work. No TV in the smaller bedroom. The advertising for the apartment said that toiletries are provided, there was no shampoo in the ensuite bathroom just the cheapest shower gel available from a German supermarket. There was almost as much water coming from the top of the shower as from the shower head - another maintenance issue. The second bathroom had a bidet that cannot be used as the washing machine was placed in front of it. Also, the shower arrangement means that the floor floods. The master bedroom and ensuite is very large by comparison to the second bedroom. It suggests that the place is designed more for 2 adults and children. The second bathroom required occupants of the small bedroom to walk across the living room to access a bathroom - not the most convenient arrangement. The dining table needs attention as it was quite wobbly. I tried to tighten the nuts up to stabilise it a little. The advertising said that there are three beds one of which is the corner sofabed. This suggests that 6 people could occupy the apartment but there is insufficient seating at the table or on the sofa for 6 people. The apartment, in my opinion, is suitable for four adults max.

Great location. It was nice to have closed pool for guests only.

AC was only in one room - bedrooms had ceiling fans.

Love the layout, the dual bathrooms, decor was modern & bright, nice sized balcony to have a drink & relax. Location was good, but a little further from beaches like Playa Del Duque, which was our fave. It was one of my best experiences with a host, they were very communicative, informative & they responded quickly to any questions. They provided beach towels too, which was really helpful!

Tv didn't work well.

Host was very helpful, sent us a guide with videos and pictures on how to get to the location! The apartment looks beautiful and is well furnished (has basic necessities in the kitchen, even a juicer which we used to make fresh orange juice). I didn't notice when booking that it also has a washing machine and we were provided with washing pods which was a very nice surprise. You could really see that they have thought very thoroughly on what a guest might need (i.e each person got 2 sets of towels). With a lovely view on the sea and La Gomera island, we really liked sitting on the terrace and enjoy the evening. Had to do a bit of working on my laptop as well and wifi worked great. Location is about 20 minutes walk to the centre of Costa Adeje. Bear in mind that coming back is uphill but we didn't mind as it was a nice walk after dinner. There are also some small supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Some things to bring out but nothing that will decrease the rating in our opinion as the place was really nice and cosy: - parking can be a tad tricky as there are few places in the parking lot. We ended up parking on the curb as all others did although there is a yellow line indicating that it's not allowed (didn't see any fines on anyone's windshield). Just be careful with your rental and you'll be fine. - there are other accommodations in the same building which meant in the evening/early night we could hear other groups of people talking very loudly (we are early sleepers so it bothered a bit but everything calmed down by midnight so not a big issue). - watch out when showering as the drain can't handle big amounts of water. What helped for us is stopping the water for a bit and allow the water to drain before continuing.
