Chasa Campell

Es war eine sehr tolle Erfahrung! Die Gastgeberin ist eine sehr warme Person. Wir haben gut geschlafen, am Morgen kommt die Sonne auf Balkon und man kann die tolle Aussicht geniessen. Küche ist durch Fenster mit dem Essraum verbunden, was wir ganz praktisch und toll fanden. Die Lage ist auch perfekt. Allgemein ist es ganz romantisch in diesem schönem altem Haus wohnen zu können.

les matelats ne sont pas des plus confortables, ok pour deux ou trois nuits mais il faudrait les changer. pas facile de s'installer confortablement à plusieurs autour de la table du salon.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Frau Campell war sehr liebenswürdig und sehr hilfsbereit.

Lage

Appartement qui a un immense charme au milieu du joli village d'Ardez ! On se prend à remonter le temps, à même aimer entendre craquer le bois sous ses pas, l'ancien et tout le confort moderne est un enchantement !!

The apartment is in the upper floor of a traditional farm house (The hosts live down-stairs). The flat has been refurbished some time ago, but is well maintained. The rooms are quaint and all a bit crooked (watch out for your head in some locations). The place not luxurious, but perfectly fine, clean and has a well equipped kitchen. The location is great in the center of Ardez, a beautiful and very quiet town - yet close to Scuol with all its infrastructure.

There is only one (small) bathroom, so if you are actually in 5 that may mean some inconvenience. Parking: on the positive side, there is one parking slot reserved for the flat about 50 meters from the house. However, if you are coming with more than one car, you have to park further away on public paid parking. Some other reviewers noted already: The main room is in the center of the building without windows - but it didn't bother us, as we were outside hiking during the day.

This is a cozy and well-maintained, clean apartment. It easily accommodated 3 adults and 2 children. There were games and toys for the kids to discover. The kitchen is well-stocked with options for cooking. The small balcony looks out on the mountains. Lovely. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the backyard area as well. Washing machine is a big asset.

The pillows, etc., are stuffed with feathers and it is a pet-friendly booking. Did experience some allergies from the bedding and/or former pet occupants. Some of the rooms are at slightly different levels, one had to "mind-your-step" going from room to room, as well as stepping out of the shower. The stairway up to the apartment has only a rope handgrip rather than a railing. The stairs are steep. Good to know ahead if traveling with any mobility issues. Took awhile to find the washing machine and how to get to the backyard.
