In Swiss Home - Barfüsserplatz BAR street Apartment

Fantastic location in the centre of the city and great views from the terrace.

What a lucky find this place was... perfect for a solo or couple travelling. Location is right in the city center: close to many restaurants, shopping, bars and groceries. Tourist sights within walking distance. Apartment is on the 6th floor, elevator access. Little touches (spices, extra towels, comfy bed pillows) made our stay feel more like home! Washer & dryer...a blessing. Fully equipped kitchen to cook (could use cutting board, pizza cutter and better knives). Balcony to enjoy in evenings when not raining.

The Internet can be spotty with bad weather. Very close to active nightlife(bars) and can be a little noisy with windows open.

The host was very responsive and the apartment itself was clean and nice in a central location. Once the whole building is renovated it will certainly be a nice place to be.

There was no mention about the fact that the whole building was a construction site; it was not even possible to find the entrance and as a woman arriving alone I felt pretty unwell. I would have never chosen this apartment would I have known the state of the building. Way too expensive for what it was.

The apartment was modern, clean, and spacious. It is in a central location close to public transportation and many restaurants and bars.

The building is under renovations and jack hammering started at 7am. I didn’t find the kitchen very clean with finger prints on the cabinets not giving a feeling of cleanliness. The laundry soap used for the bedding was very strongly scented and over powering. Not pleasant at all. The layout of the room was very unusual with the tv tucked into a corner at right angles to the head of the bed and seating on the opposite side of the bed.
