The studio was clean. The location is not bad.

The studio was very small even for one person. The sofa bed was quite old and not fit. Everything was just very basic.

Location: 2/5 The location of the apartment is very convenient, as it is on the Lungàrno, a lively waterfront promenade. However, this convenience comes at a price. Facilities: 1/5 On arrival we were greeted by a strong, lingering smell of smoke, which was a great disappointment, especially for non-smokers. The towels provided were wet and damp, which was unhygienic and unpleasant. The sofa bed was completely unusable due to its extremely thin mattress, causing discomfort and sleep deprivation. Noise level: 1/5 The proximity of the apartment to the main entrance meant that we could hear every sound from the street, including slamming doors and loud conversations. This lack of privacy and tranquillity seriously affected our ability to rest peacefully. Communication: 0/5 When we raised our concerns about the smell of smoke and the unusable sofa bed, the owners' lack of response was alarming. Their lack of communication added to our anxiety and frustration. Customer service: 0/5 The owner's dismissive attitude and unwillingness to address our complaints left us feeling disrespected and helpless. Their claim to have never received any complaints about the apartment seems dubious given the widespread dissatisfaction we experienced. Overall experience: 0/5 Due to the persistent smell of smoke, inadequate facilities, unbearable noise and unsatisfactory customer service, we were forced to relocate and seek alternative accommodation. We lost valuable holiday time, money and endured the inconvenience of having to wash all our clothes due to the smoke. Recommendation: Absolutely not In light of our disastrous experience, we strongly advise against booking this apartment. The combination of unpleasant living conditions, unresponsive communication and unresolved issues makes it an unsuitable option for any traveller. Consider choosing another property that prioritises the comfort and satisfaction of its guests.

Great location and easy to find. Very cosy with a hidden kitchen. Good shower and air on.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable and some new towels would be nice but this did not detract from the stay.

The location was very fine and the value for money great. It has the window toward a main street, but if you close it it is pretty quiet inside.

The kitchen closet needs to be repaired or replaced.

Sofa is not comfortable for sleeping.

Great location, good wifi

Asked the owner if there was somewhere we could leave our bags (10am check-out and 9pm flight) to be told her friend around the corner owns the coffee shop and as long as we buy coffee, we can leave them. He said no. The owners response was, ‘oh well he did last week’ Door didn’t work, at first the owner seemed suspicious I had broken the key, a day later a new key was brought as replacement and the owner’s daughter said the new key also didn’t work and it must be the door. I asked if something could be done about the door and was told it needed lubricating and be patient, not easy when you return in the midday sun and it takes 15 minutes to open the door (no exaggeration) or return in the dark and need the bathroom after dinner out and it takes 7 minutes to get in. Uncomfortable bed poor communication in regards to cost of a taxi from the airport (12.60€ including airport supplement)

Excellent position. Small but very practical. This would be a wonderful place to stay in normal weather. Good fridge. Hot water tank in bathroom. It was noisy during the day but quiet at night.

I arrived wet after a storm in Genoa and there was no way to dry clothes as the heating was high on the wall and warm air rises. I took away the wet clothes in a bag to dry at the next stop. Maybe communication could be simpler, perhaps send arrival instructions first and leaving instructions later.
