Hawthorn in Crayke YO61 4TE

Central village location, very convenient for the Durham Ox. Spacious and comfortable with good parking. Excellent communication from the hosts.

Nothing serious at all, just minor points. We couldn't find instructions about the cooker or microwave, both of which took us some time to master. It would have been nice to have some leaflets about the history of the village and the surrounding area, as well as information on local attractions/activities.

Location good . Bed comfortable. Good to have 2 showers.

Oven needed professional cleaning. Significant Mould in en suite. Shower riser rail broken.

Lovely quiet location yet central enough for trips into York or to the coast. Flat was clean and spacious, absolutely no complaints.

Crayke is a very pretty village. The apartment is spacious for 2 and well equipped.

A few notes in a folder at the property to help guests with practical questions e.g. where the nearest shop is (Easingwold?), instructions for the cooker, local walks etc. would be helpful.

Great location very close to Easingwold and all the beautiful places around. Pretty village with village church and the Durham Ox opposite, which serve fantastic meals.

Just lacked a welcome pack on arrival which is always a nice touch. No written info about oven, or local area. Owner answered queries promptly though. We had a problem with the lock which was sorted, and probably could do with being able to lock the doors downstairs.

Cosy appartement in een rustige buurt.

Extra bedden zijn 2 sofa´s, geen zetelbed. Tip: indien je wenst te eten in de pub aan de overkant, best reserveren op voorhand.
