T1 Alvor Centre Paddy's II

The upstairs bathroom was very dirty and the shower sprayed water all over the floor. The owners claimed that we left the apartment in a mess which is u true and refused to return the deposit which is what they do to keep the money. I will never stay here again

The apartment was modern and well equipped. Its location was very central to all key amenities. The host was really helpful, and reliable, in identifying a solution to key exchange (as keys are not kept locally/in Alvor) which made this easy and convenient for us (was a non-issue).

Given it's central location, it is (generally) a noisy area to stay in. Of both a morning and evening, certainly during peak season anyway.

Ridiculous to have to travel to Praia da Rocha to collect the keys and then to return them to the same place. We have been coming to Alvor for 20 years and never had to do that before. So difficult with luggage and expensive too! Couldn’t find the office and no one was at the office at the allotted return time. Also very petty when I was asked for 34 cents as bank transfer from Sterling to euro was short. There were no instructions on how to use the apartment and no contact number for emergencies out of office hours. TV difficult to use as remote didn’t work and there weren’t any English channels.

We really liked the driver of our transfer!! He was so friendly and not only showed us the apartement, but also answered all of our questions and more! And in general we loved the place because it was so near to everything (beach, bars, restaurant, supermarkt, taxis).

The apartement could have been more clean (especially the floor - our socks were black after walking on it). The table was sticky and we saw some ants…but it wasn‘t as bad as i sounds, i just recommend to clean more intensively.
