Roz A Mer - Beach Apartment

First off, the location is absolutely amazing, just a stone’s throw from the beach, literally from the water- you might as well have the Indian Ocean in your yard ( in a good way). The property has everything you might need for self-catering, a stove, an oven, a large and new refrigerator, comfortable bed (s) a safe, a spacious bathroom and of course the beautiful terrace as shown in the pictures and it is not super modern but it is very cozy (BTW the furniture pieces are solid wood of good quality -just amazing. There is a stand/restaurant a walking distance from the house where you can get good meals if you feel like not cooking at a decent price. As the house is in the southern part of the island, which makes it quiet and peaceful, the closest shop/grocery store is a five to ten minutes drive. Overall it is advisable to rent a car staying anywhere on the island to get to places anyway. The property is nice in and of itself but what makes it really I mean really special is the manager and caretaker Angel . Angel without exaggeration is the spirit of the house, she went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible and providing us with useful information and advice. Last but not least I would like to mention one more thing, we were two guys (a couple) and we felt welcomed without prejudice.

Nothing, we of course, recommend this property and if available we will definitely come back and stay there. Again many thanks to Angel and the owner Roger and his wife.

I really like everything about Roz a mer. Place is incredible - it’s hidden on the south of Mahe, surrounded by beautiful mountains and jungle forrest and in front of it there’s a paradise beach like from commercial with blue water. I was living on the ground floor and I had everything that I needed for the comfortable stay. Bed is really good, kitchen is equipped, hot water and essentials in the bathroom. There’s a nice terrace where you can relax and listen to the sound of the ocean waves. Wifi was a bit unstable but still enough for watching some series. Soundproofing is great. Location is a bit remoted from the attractions but really good if you would like to explore the south of Mahe. There are bus stop, small food store and fast-food restaurant 3 min walk from the apartment. Angel, the host, is the nicest and the most helpful, and kind person. I had some health issues during my vacation and she helped so much to get to the nearest hospital.

If I say this is heaven on Earth it wouldn't be enough how beautifull it realy is, few steps from the beach that is awesome, apartment that we had was on first floor of house with beautifull view from extra large terrace, car park, confy rooms and all fully operational, host Angel is really an angel helping you with all activities on island better than a tour guide for sure, location can't be better, everything was like in 5-10mins with a car, grocery store, restaurants beach bars, this accommodation is worth more than actually costs, absolutely reccommended, will come again :-)

We found some dirty dishes from the last travelers. They should have cleaned better before leaving the property.

Great quiet location in a rock covered part of the beach. Beautiful view from the balcony. Outdoor shower at the entrance to the beach. Great hostess Angel, always willing to help with anything. Unforgettable sunrises in the morning and moonrises in the evening from the balcony. Very comfortable and providing great facilities.
