Fairfield Cottages

It is just perfect- every single need is met in this beautiful cottage and it is hard to tear yourself away and end your stay. Cannot wait to visit again for a much longer period. It is clean, the water is hot, there is enough space and facilities, beautiful eat-ware, swimming pool, fire places, Tickle Tub, swings….All in all just amazing.

Accommodation and farm environment is lovely and that's why we are repeated visitors. Thank you for keeping your cottages at such a good standard!

We could not really relax nor use a pool because of intoxicated, noisy and inconsiderate neighbours from the cottage next to ours.

Location, layout, facilities - it’s a wonderful place!!

Small thinks - it’s quite dark inside - could do with a bit more lighting perhaps. The sprinklers waking us up with the water hitting the windows early in the morning 😛

Pool a bit disappointing, would have love a swim but not clean

Location was perfect! The owners gave us all the information and caution we needed before hand. Riana promptly responded to all the questions I had via booking.com platform. The cottage was well equipped and functional. It was secured with a security system that we activated as per the instructions, at night so that gave us a sense of security and peaceful sleep. Swimming was great,our daughter loved it. A special thank you to Anita for giving our daughter her son's arm inflateable bands, much appreciated! We ll definitely go back.

The kitchen didn't have dish towels. That was a challenge when we needed to dry or wipe dishes. We were looking forward to enjoying a warm jacuzzi but it didn't have water. We were not sure whether we needed to fill it ourselves and make the fire but we are hoping to use it next visit.

It was very remote, more suitable for a couple than a family

It was advertised as pet friendly but after the first night our dogs were infested with ticks from running in the grass. I wish we had been warned about this plus the fee of R100 per dog. We ended up spending a lot of money to get rid of the ticks.

Great value for money, little get away on a farm! Will be back.
