Bonny Colne On The Hill

I can't put into words how much I adore this place! Yes, there are steps up to the front door, for which the hand rail is vital, and a flight of stairs up to the living area. However, once I'm inside, it is a beautiful apartment and the perfect bolt hole for a stay in Colne. We don't cook in the apartment, but the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need. The sitting room is comfy and the TV provides entertainment for an evening in. Up another flight of stairs is the bedroom. Lots of storage to be had and the bed is soooo comfortable! The apartment is a short walk from the centre of town, so is ideally situated. This was our second stay here and we hope to be back for more!

A lovely stylish spacious apartment right in the centre of Colne, but also quiet & residential. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The bed very comfy. Bathroom a nice size & the shower was good. Yes there are quite steep stairs & outside steps , and if your not ok with this then dont book this apartment. We were fine with them!

We stayed in December so it was dark pretty much at 430pm. The outside light over the door and steps didnt work. Fortunatley we had a torch in the car that we could make use of as there is no on street lighting in the back lane either.

Had a lot of steps, some people would struggle but we are both 67 and managed.

What can I say? We booked Bonny Colne after reading the reviews and even then it exceeded our expectations! Frank supplied comprehensive information about both the accommodation and local area.Upon arrival, we were able to check in independently. Walking into the apartment immediately felt like home from home. Inside, there is everything you could need, from a fully equipped kitchen to linen for the bedroom/bathroom. Bonny Colne is a proper hidden gem, close to the town centre, but tucked away in a quiet residential street. Parking was easy, in fact everything was just so easy...we've already booked to come back again!

The location is perfectly situated for walking down to the river and up to town. The road is mostly quiet.

The bathroom window had been screwed down, not fixed, so couldn't air the room. The mattress has become lumpy.

A great place to stay. This was our third stay and we have another one in Dec. The apartment has everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommended.

The steps to the property are very steep. There is a handrail and I recommend that you use it.

Fantastic place. So good we are back next week for our 3rd visit. Well located to everything. The apartment is perfect. Highly recommended.
