Marina Elegance by Lagos

Das super nette Personal.

Did not stay in Marina Elegance due to construction work on the 5th floor. The owner of the apartment, Vitor, kindly informed us of this the day before arrival and offered us the use of Blue Marine apartment, also owned by him in the same area. This was much appreciated. Hence, I am completing this review based on our stay at the Blue Marine apartment and not the Marina Elegance.

Wir sind seit über 25 Jahren regelmäßig in Lagos, aber so eine Erfahrung hatten wir noch nie. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts (04.–17.10.2025) fanden in der Wohnung direkt über uns massive Renovierungsarbeiten statt – täglicher Baulärm von 08:30 bis 18:30 Uhr, Bohren, Hämmern, Schleifen, Stemmen. An Erholung war nicht zu denken; selbst auf der Terrasse war wegen des Staubs kein Aufenthalt möglich. Weder der Eigentümer noch die Verwaltung haben uns vorab informiert, obwohl die Arbeiten offenbar schon länger bekannt waren. Vor Ort versprach man zunächst Unterstützung, danach – nach unserer Abreise – keine Reaktion mehr. Auch die Buchungsplattform (Holidu/Booking) bot trotz eindeutiger Beweise nur eine symbolische Erstattung an. Für uns ist das Verhalten insgesamt unprofessionell und enttäuschend. Wir haben die Wohnung verlassen mit dem Gefühl, dass Gäste hier kaum ernst genommen werden, wenn Probleme auftreten. Schade – Lagos bleibt für uns ein Lieblingsort, aber diese Unterkunft und dieser Anbieter sind keine Empfehlung.

La limpieza y la amplitud. Estaba nuevo y muy bien. Es la primera vez de todos los viajes que he hecho, que realidad supera las fotos. Siempre suele ser al contrario. La administración que nos atendió muy amable y dándonos toda clase de facilidades y explicaciones.

Prime location on Lagos marina - everything you need in close proximity - restaurants, supermarket etc - all within walking distance. We booked property for it's location, underground parking, lift facilities (as travelling with elderly parents) and 2 large balconies. Apartment footprint very spacious, both in terms of indoor and outdoor space. Decor very basic but perfectly adequate for a short term rental. Beds very comfortable. The only negative for us was the lack of access to large wardrobe spaces in main bedroom (locked by owners). This should be made clear in property description as no other drawer units or other storage facilities available.

It's a very specious place. the location was fabulous. Thank you to Deborah for letting us in early. The only small negative was that the shower in the master bathroom was too low.

Location was great. Close to restaurants, grocery store and train station

Cookware stuck. Only given one set of keys for 2 couples at first.
