Brownstead Cottage

Location was perfect, supplies was excellent we arrived late and did not have time to stop to get anything. Rooms excellent

Just a note about security light we left it on as it was dark but it lights the whole house

Dormitorios muy espaciosos y cómodos. El anfitrión tiene el detalle de dejar fruta, leche, cafés y panes de distintos tipos, mantequilla, mermelada, queso, fruta.... lo que facilita mucho como mínimo el desayuno. Además, vive en la casa contigua, por lo que cualquier duda o necesidad la resuelve enseguida. Es una persona muy agradable, te informa de qué zonas de interés hay cerca así como de cualquier duda que le preguntes. Zona muy tranquila, sin ruidos, pero bien comunicada

La limpieza, especialmente en la cocina, necesitaría algo de mejora (soy muy exigente) La calefacción algo complicada de gestionar, sólo funciona durante 3 horas seguidas, pero si estás en la casa cuando empieza a enfriarse, puedes volver a conectarla

Loves everything about the cottage. It was comfortable and cosy. Had everything you could need on arrival. Fintan went above and beyond to make our stay such a pleasant one. Everything there ready to just put the kettle on and to make, cheese ham and tomato sandwiches, even fruit and biscuits and other little surprises. We were there for a family wedding, and Fintan drove us there, even offering to collect us after, and to drive us to the airport. A total gentleman and great host.

I really can't fault anything, it was perfect for what we wanted. Having a car would definitely be best to get around and be independent.

Very clean and tidy, description and photos matched the cottage perfectly. Good location, easy to get to. Fintan was quick to reply and helpful with any questions we had.

There was plenty of space and storage in the well kept cottage. We had the best time especially the children. They enjoyed playing out the back on the swings/slides and with the 2 dogs. There was plenty of cutlery / plates / cups cooking equipment and we really appreciated the coffee pods and basic foods (bread, cheese, butter, milk, tea, sugar plus washing up) already in the fridge and ready for us on arrival. Fintan and Valerie were very good hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. It was lovely to speak to them. We are already deciding on the next date to come back. Thank you so much.

The cottage was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming and accommodating! Lots of space, Comfortable bed, strong shower, great kitchen and it was great to have a washer & dryer too.

We loved everything about our stay at the Brownstead Cottage.

The property was fabulous, we couldn’t fault it. It had everything traveller requires. There was bread,cheese, ham and jam along with tea, milk and a coffee pod machine, they thought of everything. There was also a washing machine and dryer.

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we needed another 3 days at least here, with these lovely hosts,
