Guesthouse Felicidade

There were a balcony at this guesthouse. Very good for a smoker like me.

We had a discussion about smoking on balcony. It was not allowed from my room. But from the kitchen to another terrasse it was allowed. I did 't understand this strange logic in the houserules. So we split after one night stay though I booked three nights. Bad experience.

Excellent location, near to the old town and the supermarket, lovely host, clean and comfortable apartment/room. Main bus station within easy walking distance.

Si vous y séjournez en hiver, par exemple j’y étais en janvier, n’oubliez pas de demander, à l’arrivée, le petit supplément pour le radiateur électrique, en effet, si vous n’avez pas prévu un pyjama en polaire ou en pilou, les nuits vous sembleront peut-être fraîches mais on dort mieux au frais .

The flat is located quite close to the city center, a 15min walk - downhill 😁 Who doesn't want to climb back, can use a public transport, the bus stop is just in front of the building. This place has all needed amenities and even a balcony with some ocean view. For backpackers - you can cook your own meal, do the laundry, chill in the living room. Just a perfect place to feel comfortable during your shorter or longer stay.

Clean, quiet, and a great location for the money. Owner was very responsive and polite.

The host communicated well and was very helpful, providing prompt inputs whenever we asked for information about local restaurants, places to visit, etc. Overall it was fine. Thank you.

Please consider installing room heaters and including the charges in the room tariff (we were informed well in advance about the additional charges for heaters). Additionally, it would be helpful to install better curtains.
