Lagos Sea View Apartment

The owner canceled my reservation when I was in front of the building trying to find the key. I was tired after many hours of driving and outside was really hot but he didn’t care and canceled my reservation ( Even i asked him to not do this because I had No place to go) And the paymebt was already done to him…His only concern was to not give me the chance to give him a bad review. He is a very rude person with no sense of customer care. I travelled a lot, booked a lot of plăcea during my travels but I never met someone so rude as him. So please take care…. From what I was able to see being there and tried to get in the apartament I can tell you that this apartament is in an apartament complex where people are living day by day ( not a vacation complex) and the pool is very crowded with a lot of kids and adulta. And the beach is far from the apartament it’s not like you’ll be there in a min…no.

The apartment was in a great location, close to the pool and the beach. It was very clean and comfortable. The terrace was spacious and perfect for sitting out to read or enjoy a meal. It was great to have a washing machine to do laundry. This was a great location to relax for a few days.

The air conditioner did not cool very well and there was only one unit, in the living room, to cool the entire apartment. I'd be concerned about how it would work in warmer weather. There were ants in the apartment, requiring us to keep all opened food in the refrigerator. (Bug spray was available.) No soap or shampoo in the shower, and no laundry detergent provided.

The location was outstanding!

When we entered the apartment there was a horrible sewage smell, so we just opened everything up to air out the apartment. Could not find anything to account for the odor. We decided after 8 weeks of restaurant meals we’d cook dinner. We noticed that as we prepared the meal, the floor was getting more and more wet. The sink was draining into the pots and pan drawer beneath the sink and overflowing on to the floor! I immediately notified the property via the email they had sent the entry information on. no response! There was only 2 bath towel (for 6-day stay), 2 hand towels, 1 kitchen towel, no bath soap, no paper towel and only 3 rolls of toilet paper. I sent a total of 5 messages over the next 4 days with not a single response. The odor was persistent! I have never been so unhappy and disappointed by a property!!

A fantastic location and a brilliant view. Superb beaches nearby and a boardwalk that takes you all the way down the coast. Unfortunately we only got a couple of days of good sun but it was February! The apartment is also convenient (10 mins walk), from the old town which is very pretty and has plenty of excellent restaurants, including Calhou, Real Portugal, Pepperino Pizza and A Petisquiera. It's also easy to get a train or bus to other destinations from Lagos.

Couldn't find any toiletries but that wasn't too much of a problem

excellent location and view of Dona Ana. nice pool area and a little snack bar at the location. plenty of free parking and walkable to restaurants or old town.

location is a little difficult to find the first time, but once you find it, easy to figure out. no real contact with the staff.

I loved the apartment itself. It was big, had a great shower, nice bed, very well equipped, and a large balcony. The wifi works very well. It is right beside the beach and had incredible morning views. The best part was the service from the apartment owner Renato. He was professional, helpful, and communicated well. When the power went out at random, he very quickly came over to fix it and even brought me a new kettle to use, as that one had caused the problem. The experience was amazing!

The only thing that I didn't love was the location. It was still close to many things, like a supermarket (Spar), although it was on top of a hill, so required some walking to get to town, but honestly, this was a minor inconvenience. Book this place, you won't regret it :)
