Casa Amata

a beautiful ole world style apartment in the heart of Lecco only 3 min walk to the lake. the apartment was set in from the main street in a quiet location with beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. our host greeted us on arrival and was always on hand if you needed anything. the place was full of antiques keeping in taste with the age of the building. the bed was like heaven to rest in after a days sightseeing round Lecco.

Small studio, not a lot of means to cook.

Warm and nice apartment, host is really kind and wait us when we arrive late because of taking wrong train. The placement is perfect in downtown. You can walk to lake side, also to trian station in 5 mins. The room has two floor stairs to reach, which is a liitle bit tough but host help us carring the suitcase.

The place was really tidy, cosy, well maintained and we immediately felt like home! The location was perfect and even though the place was right in the city centre you couldn't hear the street noises at all. Also, the host was really communicative and helpful which is a big plus.

There were some days when we could hear neighbours talking loud and clear during the night because of the shared courtyard. This isn't the host fault and nothing you could really do to avoid this. Just something to keep in mind.
