We loved the flat. It is in a lovely house and furnished with good taste. It is comfortable for spending the whole day at home if you just want to stay and enjoy the feeling of an authentic italian city life. The view is just spectacular. Evetything you need is just few steps away.

Marco was fantastic and found us via WhatsApp after we’re dropped off by a cab from Genova City Airport. The property is a little tricky to locate from the main road but this was sorted ASAP and it was so lovely to see a kind, helpful and welcoming face after a long journey! The property is upstairs, an apartment in a chic and classic house spilt into individual flats. Once you reach the apartment, the stair climb is worth it when you see the view. It has a very generous sized living area, with a giant sofa and doors leading to the balcony. There balcony was where we enjoy breakfast each morning, really special watching the sea, boats, bright coloured birds and observing fig and lemon trees all at a height! Each room has a fan and kitchen is well equipped for self catering (not that we did much of that! as there is great restaurants close by) The coffee machine / cafeteria was a plus in the morning. The apartment is located nr a small super market, a little bathing beach and then amazing series of rocks to sunbathe / swim from / have a drink at. Watching the sun~set so close to the waves while enjoying an aperol spritz was defo a highlight! We found lots of options for simple lunches and dinners. The shower has great pressure at the end of a day after swimming in the sea. There was also very useful complimentary toiletries for the shower, which was kind. Marco was very responsive on WhatsApp, and was helpful in suggesting areas to visit and restaurants. We also managed to navigate back to airport after the holiday on the local train (station walkable from apartment, cheap and efficient) followed by a simple bus. A little heads up ~ it best to make a reservation in person during the day for the best places for dinner.

The front bedroom is a little noisy at night with unavoidable road traffic, but after shutting the shutter and putting on the silent fan that was soon fixed. We would had loved a hairdryer.

The apartment was comfortable, clean and had everything you could need. The view was amazing. The owner was super helpful and friendly. We were very happy. The only small flaw was the audible road, but we knew that.

The apartment was a great surprise. Full of charm, incredible view (couldn’t get tired of it)! The beach was so close by. We were looking for a little getaway in order to break our crazy work routine - thanks to this beautiful apartment with comfortable bed and the beach by foot, we didn’t need more. A big big thanks to Marco and his sweet wife. Please ask Marco about the restaurant advises because he gave us amazing tips and we had a fantastic feast enjoying the local food. This year I went with my friend but next year I’ll bring my family 😍
