Amazing location and spacious apartment just like the pictures! The host was super nice and allowed us to check in once we arrived in Horta in the morning which made our day a lot smoother! Highly recommend!

Paul was a truly exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay in Horta special. The apartment was great - exactly as pictured, perfectly clean, and well-equipped.

There are some pros and cons with the location. It's well-located between the ferry terminal and the main part of downtown, but a bit of a walk to either (including a short-but-steep hill) if that's a big concern. As there is only one set of keys (it's possible another set might be available), it's not possible for someone to leave and take the keys to get back in without leaving the door to the apartment unlocked, since it requires the key to lock/unlock from both the inside and outside. Security was absolutely not a concern overall in Horta, so this is unlikely to be an issue, but it's worth being aware of.

I was very happy and the owner was excellent. We loved all the amenities and the location was not bad at all. Parking was a little hard but we managed. I would stay here again, nice and quite too. Very clean and we had fun cooking dinners. In addition, compared to other apartment we stayed in first, this one was updated and modern with new amenities and a fresh clean look and feel. Air condition was a huge plus as it was very humid and hot and we were able to always come home to a nice cool place. There is really nothing bad about it at all

The only complaint I have is the parking. Just because it is on a hill and hard to find a place to park. However, this is not the owners fault and we managed well and had no real problems.
