The bed is comfortable and the view is beautiful. However, the apartment itself needs some improvements, particularly in the kitchen. And the bathroom is impractical, as there is no shower curtain, so the entire space gets flooded during use.

We had a very disappointing experience with the host. Although she sent a long message with recommendations for bars, restaurants, and general information, the essential instructions were missing. On Hydra, where many houses look identical, she did not clearly explain which house was hers or how to identify it. As a result, we spent a long time in the heat trying to find the property, even though we had already reached the correct street via GPS. What made the situation worse was the lack of support from the host. Despite knowing we were nearby and struggling, she made no effort to come out, and help us locate the house. Instead, she repeatedly told us on the phone to “read the instructions” while she remained on her terrace in the shade. Communication was also an issue, as she does not speak English, which made everything unnecessarily difficult. Additionally, when I asked about how the electricity and hot water system works, her response was quite rude, asking whether I “knew how to read the instructions.” This is not the level of communication or respect one expects, especially at this price point. Overall, for the money paid, we expected significantly better communication, basic guidance, and a more welcoming attitude.
