The Cobbles Inn Apartment

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Kelso. A number of excellent pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Parking was excellent.

I honestly couldn't think of anything I could find fault with. There are two flights of stairs, so if you have mobility issues, this could be a problem, but this is clearly shown in details of the property.

Bad smell in Apartment. Could of been cleaner especially around windows

The location was excellent. We loved the food and people in the pub below. It was very cosy.

It really needs a good clean. Spider webs and dust everywhere. We asked for a cot and they told us to provide bedding, which we did, however there was no mattress in the cot. I would have assumed there would be a mattress and we wouldn’t need to take our own…also I think investing in a new stair gate would be advised.

Stairs - quite a climb

We had a really good night’s sleep on the comfortable beds with nice linen and comfortable pillows the kitchen had everything we could have needed and we could control the temperature of the apartment to suit ourselves. The location was excellent.

I personally didn’t like the settee and chair because they were low and deep so I couldn’t sit on them properly and once seated I couldn’t get up from them. My husband thought the settee was very soft and comfortable and he could have slept on it quite easily. There are a lot of stairs leading up to the apartment but that would not deter us from staying here again as long as we can continue to manage stairs.
