Les Cerisiers - Appartement de Standing au Centre de Namur

Great apartment at a wonderful location! Our apartment was on the second floor of the building, overlooking the small square in front of the church. There was a decent sized bedroom and a very spacious living/dining area. The bathroom was quite generous as well, with a bathtub and a washing machine/dryer combo. You will also have a small kichenette with a refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher at your disposal. The entire apartment was super clean when we arrived. The check-in process was extremely smooth, and the hosts were super-responsive over the Booking.com chatbox. There was also a fan in the living room that we had to use during the warmest afternoons. The apartment is located at the heart of Namur old-town, surrounded by great restaurants, pubs and cafes. There are several interesting stores within walking distance, if you want to shop around a bit. The ropeway/cable-car station to Namur citadel is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment, and you can walk to the apartment from Namur station in 6-8 minutes, tops. We had an extremely comfortable stay, and it felt like home.

If we nitpick, the only issue we faced were the stairs to the apartment on the second floor. They are a little narrow and steep for our liking. However, we did not have much luggage to carry, making it not too bad.

conditions just essential, to not feel the need to go outside consistently or eat outside, everything is just handy , location is superb , literally inside the city center with parking nearby and if one wants to get distant from crowed , just follow the river.

A second pillow would have been nice. The bedroom was a bit poky and the bed was creaky; it was held up by bits of wood. The bath was slippery. More information about parking would have been useful.

It took several days for the host to reply to emails.

Spacious, clean apartment in the heart of the old town of Namur, yet still a short, straight walk to the train station for day trips. Kitchen and bathroom well stocked with everything you need, including soap for the washing machine.

1. Hard to find! The entry is tucked into the side of the building next to a small cafe. Even two local gentlemen could not find the address. A photo of the entry would have been very helpful. 2. You need to haul your luggage up a narrow steep flight of stairs followed by another few stairs. This was not mentioned in the description. So if you have orthopedic, cardiac or pulmonary issues, you may want to consider this. 3. Bed is situated in a nook so you have to crawl in and out of bed from the foot of the bed. The bed, pillows and linens aren't comfortable and need updating. 4. The owner is off-site. So, if you are someone who has traveled extensively; staying in privately owned flats, and are used to figuring out European appliances, where to empty the garbage, etc then you'll be fine. However, if you're the kind of traveler that prefers a little bit of human contact, (NO- I don't mean staff catering to your every need), then you might want to take this into consideration.

This apartment was a fantastic location in central Namur, very good value for money. Stylish and modern with a well-stocked kitchen. Easy to check in and out, and the communication from the hosts was nice and clear.

Better pillows on the beds would have been nice, otherwise everything was great.
