Casa Cataplana Accommodations

The spacious, well-equiped apartment and the friendly and helpful host.

The noise level at night despite the double windows and shutters was quite annoying. The disco music and party noise went on until four o'clock in the morning.

The apartment is the perfect location, you are walking distance to everything in Lagos...including the beaches! The apartment is much bigger and comfier than it appears in the photos. There is even a nespresso coffee machine and a large TV connected to the internet so you can even log into your Netflix if you like 😉 We liked having our morning coffee in the sun on the terrace overlooking the sea (the terrace is shared with the other apartment but we didn't find that a problem). Our host, Jose, met us with the keys on arrival and was very helpful - even accommodating out last meeting change of arrival time! 😅🙈

Although the apartment is perfectly located for all the bars and restaurants in Lagos, this does mean that some nights the music was VERY LOUD until the early hours of the morning. We recommend you take ear plugs. Perhaps not a good area to stay if you have young children or you always like an early night 😉 Also, sometimes we found the wifi signal not very strong. But apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Cataplana.
