Muralha Residence

We were absolutely thrilled with the property. It was so spacious and clean and really handy to have a main bathroom as well as an ensuite. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was perfect - very close to the town, shops and the beaches. The pools were fantastic and kept the children entertained for hours, in fact days! The bigger one wasn't that deep but it wasn't a problem. It was great that there were inflatables lying around the pool for people to borrow. There were other families using the pool but it never felt crowded.

Perhaps a sun umbrella to take to beaches but it's a minor point. A key lock would have been ideal to collect the keys, rather than having someone meet us on arrival as the cost of someone letting us in was pretty high (although it was mentioned in advance so we were expecting it).

The apartment is beautiful and we would not hesitate to recommend it to families visiting Lagos. We were a party of four adults and a teenager, and there was more than sufficient space for all of us. The apartment is large, with three good sized bedrooms, a spacious lounge with dining area, and a separate kitchen area. There are also two generously sized balconies on either side of the property with outdoor furniture provided. There are two bathrooms both with showers over the bath. One is en-suite to the double room and the other is shared by the two twin rooms. Having two bathrooms/showers was great for our family. The apartment is very well equipped, with so many thoughtful touches, and you will find everything you need in the kitchen for self catering. One of the really big benefits of the apartment is its proximity to the many excellent and varied restaurants in Lagos, within easy walking distance. There are also good local cafes very close by for breakfast and lunch. The apartment is situated in a lovely quiet residential area. There is a small shop across the street which provided all of the essentials we needed for our stay. There is also a larger Spar shop close by too but the prices there seemed higher, so we used the closest shop most often. The pool area is beautiful and was not busy. There are toilets and showers, and plenty of sun loungers for everyone around the pool. There are many different beaches to explore, within walking distance. We also went to Porto de Mos beach and a little further afield to Salema, both by taxi. If you are considering staying in Lagos I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment. Katia very kindly accommodated a later arrival time for us, which we very much appreciated. All communication with Carol and Katia was friendly and helpful. There was excellent communication before our stay, during our holiday and after we went home. They took very great care to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Nothing. There were no negatives at all about this apartment. Only disappointing thing was having to leave.

Apartment was very comfortable, spacious (family of 6) and clean. It was in a lovely quiet apartment block with 2 pools and a beautiful garden area. Location was perfect for the beaches and the old town. The local spar was a 3 minutes walk away. Lagos is a beautiful town so will definitely be back and would stay in this apartment again.

I travelled with my elderly Mother and Sister for a relaxing break away. The apartment is so spacious and conveniently located to the Old Town. Everything was perfect from start to finish, we couldn't recommend Muralha Residence more, spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfy beds. Hopefully we will be back next year!

That we had to come home 😂

Good layout of the apartment. It has plenty of space in the kitchen and living room. Also the garage was very handy. Plus the short walk to the center was a blast to just enjoy local culture and not worry about driving, public transport etc.

Kitchen needs a Cafetiere

The owner is fantastic and makes sure everything is seamless. Apartment is beautiful and so well equipped for families. Location could not be better! We will hopefully stay again soon.

FAB location! less than ten mins into town and same to beach - apartment is spacious and modern and has everything you need - no issues with spaces by the pool - plenty of room - owner and local rep kept in touch throughout which was lovely - can’t fault the apartment at all - 2 adults and three kids - 3yrs to 13yrs - loved it also and that’s saying something ! Will be back !

Leaving ! Sad to leave such a lovely apartment and area of Lagos - plenty of memories for the kids and we will be back !

The appartment was very clean and spacious. It is fully equipped. It is in a good location with pool and close to old town.

But if your flight is late in after 8pm then expect to pay 25 euro at mininium an hour. We were told it was to show us around the appartment facilities but it's only to give us the keys which could be stored in a key box instead.
