Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, modern with old world charm, all amenities including Aircon and washing machine. Ancient theatre outside your door. Restaurants and attractions all within walking distance. Great host. Hope to return soon.

Communication from our host Cristina was excellent. She provided helpful information about Lecce, and the apartment also contained several useful maps and brochures. Cristina's messages were friendly, informative, caring, and respectful of privacy. We arrived to a beautifully clean, cool, and sweet-smelling apartment, which was an absolute haven in the summer heat. The breakfast Cristina provided was very generous in quantity and variety! Breakfast options included local specialty cakes, fruit juices, milk, cornetti, rusks, tea, coffee, and mineral water. As I'm allergic to gluten, an additional range of gluten-free foods was generously provided separately. Cristina had also thoughtfully labeled these separate packages of food to ensure I ate safely. This apartment is bigger than most we've stayed in. It's well laid out; optimising the available space. We loved the skillful renovations. The owners have preserved important historical elements of the building, such as the magnificent vaulted ceilings, while creating a comfortable, practical, and modern living environment. We greatly appreciated using the kitchen facilities and having her opportunity to do our laundry in the washing machine. We found the bed comfortable and appreciated the luxury of air conditioning in the bedroom as well as in the kitchen/living area. As we kept similar hours to other residents of this area, we slept very well. The location of this apartment makes it an excellent base from which to explore the central historic area of Lecce while also allowing easy access to the surrounding suburbs. It's also a short and easy walk from the central train station. Outside the central historic area, there are supermarkets, fruit stalls, clothing markets, a park, shops and other services, and excellent patisseries (including two with gluten-free options), all within 30 minutes' walking distance of the old town walls.

Great location. Funky design Great communication from hosts Very Nice to have welcome snacks, on top of breakfast supply. Great to see 2 aircon units, one in the loft and lounge as imagine it could get hot up in loft in summer without it.

It would be great to have a microwave and toaster! The shower pressure was very low but maybe in summer when not needing hot water it would be OK..our trip in winter meant we needed the hot!
